Research paper?

I am writing a research paper for a literature class of a current global issues. i am debating whether to write on the need for new cars or the conflict between the Sunnis and the Shias in the Middle East. The only problem is that the subject can only have little U.S. involvment. Please tell me which subject you would choose and why.

Research paper?
If you do not know how to write a research paper, you should follow these simple checklist procedures.

Reply:Do the cars. Don't give yourself an ulcer working on something as difficult to understand and analyze as the Sunnis and Shias.
Reply:New cars is an international concern - especially now that the standard of living is going up in countries such as India and China and the ambition of most young males (and older males) is to have a car. Think of the exhaust fumes that will spew into the atmosphere. Think of the slaughter that will take place on the crowded streets as those testosterone-fired young males start zooming around in their new cars.

India, above any other country, would be the perfect place to introduce a SmartCar, a ForTwo car, or a solar powered car. There would be advantages to introducing such a vehicle on the North American continent as well, but they would be secondary to India and to China.
