Do you have to cite uncommon knowledge in a research paper?

I had to write a 6-8 page research paper on Saladin's effect on the capture of jerulsalem during the third crusade. i'm not sure if I have to cite little pieces of information that aren't quotes or paraphrasing. uncommon knowledge, do i have to cite it?

Do you have to cite uncommon knowledge in a research paper?
Yes, because since the knowledge is uncommon, you must have gotten it from somewhere. Cite it to safe yourself from plagarizing. They ramped up the definition to include "ideas" from other people.
Reply:Uncommon knowledge?... yeah definitely!
