I have to write a research paper of up to fifteen pages on any topic about the Holocaust. I really want to find something that is different and interesting to research. As well as still be credible in a college level class.
What are some potential topics for a research paper?
You could follow one nationality through the time period and see how they were involved in the Holocaust. How were they viewed by the Jews? What is their status now in those countries. For example, my family is 1/2 Ukrainian and I have heard that they were used a lot as guards in the prison camps...forced into service, so that in the early 50's there was an acknowledgement of some pretty deeply seated anger against Ukrainians. Any stories of freedom fighters or underground activity among that ethnic group?
