How should I start my into paragraph in my research paper for science?

I have a science project. I am determining if the type of music you listen to affects your pulse. Now I have to write a research paper on three subjects pertaining to my project. I chose the heart,the history of rock music,and how sound is made. Please keep in mink that this is a formal writing for a sixth grader in and eighth grade class and I have a picky teacher.

How should I start my into paragraph in my research paper for science?
You need some sort of attention grabber, like "Pam decides to relax after a hard day by grabbing her Ipod and listening to punk music (I can't think of a particular band...sorry). She instead discovers that she feels agitated and anxious. Could it be because of her music?" You could make it a whole lot more interesting than that, I am not very creative. Start it out like an article in a magazine by using an attention-grabbing story.
